EACH COMPONENT
We shall focus our attention in this case on the
KOREAN GINSENG ROOT of over 6 years of age.
The Symposium on Ginseng that is held every four years in Seoul is
a reflection of the extraordinary amount of scientific activity
that revolves around this product.
The GINSENG that we can find in the market is the dried root of the
Panax Ginseng plant, included in the Chinese, Japanese and Russian
pharmacopoeias. A distinction must be made between the Panax
Ginseng C.A., Meyer, Korean ginseng, Panax ginseng Japanicus,
Japanese ginseng, Panax quinquefolium, American ginseng (North
America and Canada), and Panax eleutherococcus senticosus, Siberian
ginseng. Of all these, the most representative and the one
acknowledged as being of the highest quality is KOREAN GINSENG,
which is the type used in the making of our product. A distinction
is also sometimes made regarding KOREAN GINSENG between red ginseng
and white ginseng. Both are identical in quality, the only
difference being found in the system by which the root used in each
case is dried.
The most notable property of GINSENG is that of being an
ADAPTOGENE, in other words, a substance that reinforces the
capacity of the organism to resist harmful chemical, biological or
physical agents, without upsetting its natural rhythm. It is a
tonic that acts deeply and progressively, without causing side
effects even if taken for long periods. Furthermore, it is a
genuine regulator of all the functions of the organism, acting in a
totally natural way on the physiological balance and the physical
state, slowing down the natural aging process of the organism.
The effects of GINSENG (shown and explained in depth in various
studies, as we have seen) were summarised by the Research Institute
of Korean Ginseng in Seoul in the table below
| SYMPTOMS | EFFECTS |
|---|
Stress Physical fatigue Mental fatigue Depression High blood pressure Arteriosclerosis Anaemia Skin | Adaptogenic Improvement in performance Increases the level of concentration Stimulation of the SNC Control Reduction of the absorption and storage of cholesterol Increase of red blood cells and haemoglobin Favourable cosmetic action |
